How I Biohacked My Health

In 2021, I found myself living in what I thought was my dream home. I had moved from Melbourne to Perth, created this beautiful sanctuary, and spent so much time and money making it feel like the perfect space for me and my family. But the reality? I was too exhausted to enjoy any of it.

I was canceling appointments, skipping commitments, and most days, I barely had the energy to get off the floor. I felt like a shell of myself. I cried a lot, and the only time I could muster any energy was when my son needed me. Everything else? It just fell apart.

Like most people, I went to the doctor, hoping for answers. Instead, I was told, “It’s all in your head,” and got referred to a psychologist. I tried that, but nothing changed. I was still stuck in this cycle of fatigue, mood swings, and feeling completely lost.

That’s when something in me shifted. I realized no one was coming to save me. If I wanted to feel better, I had to take control of my health and figure it out for myself.

Taking Control of My Health

Honestly, it wasn’t easy. It felt like for every step forward, I was taking two steps back. Sure, I started sleeping a little better, but then I gained weight. My energy was still all over the place.

At that point, my only goal was to just have enough energy to live. I didn’t have big plans to "biohack" my way to wellness - just wanted to feel like a functioning human again.

I had heard about biohacking before, but it seemed too intense, too scientific. I didn’t think I had the time or energy for it. Funny enough, I realized I’d already been doing small things that fall under biohacking without even knowing it. For example, I’d been swimming in cold water since 2017. Once I started diving deeper into practices like intermittent fasting, red light therapy, and meditation, I noticed my body slowly responding.

But here’s the thing- it wasn’t just one method that changed everything. It was the combination of all these little practices layered on top of each other. And I didn’t do it rigidly. I gave myself grace. I wasn’t following a strict rulebook- I was experimenting with what worked for me.

Of course, I had challenges. Especially when it came to food. I love sugar, and at the start, I didn’t want to give up comfort foods. But as I started to feel better, I naturally wanted to take better care of myself.

Over time, my focus shifted. It wasn’t about having the perfect body or even just about longevity anymore. It became about living a happy, healthy life where my mind and body were working together.

Sharing What I've Learned with You

I want to share everything I’ve learned with you. Because I know what it feels like to be completely drained and overwhelmed, and I also know what it feels like to get your energy back, to feel strong and clear-minded again.

Biohacking isn’t some secret reserved for wellness gurus- it’s something you can start doing in small ways to improve your health and happiness.

And I’m not here to hold anything back. My philosophy is simple: if I’ve found something that works for me, I’m going to share it with my community (not everything may not necessarily work for you).

Health is a journey, not a destination, and we can grow and learn together.

Let’s dive into the practices that have made the biggest difference in my life. You don’t need to do everything at once. Start small, see what resonates with you, and make it part of your daily routine- just like brushing your teeth.

The Key Biohacking Practices That Transformed My Health

1. Daily Supplements

Supplements are the foundation of my health routine. They keep my immune system strong, my energy balanced, and my mental clarity sharp.

  • Vitamin DAK – For immune health and bone strength.

  • CoQ10 – For cellular energy and cardiovascular support.

  • Ashwagandha – To manage stress and balance hormones.

  • Curcumin – For reducing inflammation and supporting joint health.

  • Vit Bs + Folate – For energy production and mental clarity.

  • Zinc & Copper – To maintain balanced energy and immune function.

  • Smart Mode – For cognitive enhancement and focus.

  • Zen Mode – To promote relaxation and stress management.

  • H2 + Magnesium – For hydration, energy, and muscle function.

  • Probiotics – To support gut health and digestion.

Each of these supplements plays a unique role in keeping my body and mind strong. Over time, I’ve refined what works best for me, but everyone’s body is different. Start with one or two and see how your energy shifts.

2. Physical Practices

Movement is a crucial part of my health journey. These practices help me stay strong, regulate my nervous system, and maintain balance.

  • Cold Therapy – I’ve been doing cold therapy for years, from cold showers to swimming in cold water. It reduces inflammation, speeds up recovery, and gives me a major energy boost.

  • Strength Training, Mobility, and Weightlifting – I used to get sick after working out, but now strength training is part of my routine. It keeps me strong and improves my mental resilience.

  • Intermittent Fasting – Fasting was hard at first, but now it gives me mental clarity and energy that lasts all day.

  • Grounding (Earthing) – There’s something magical about walking barefoot on the earth. It reduces inflammation and helps balance my nervous system.

  • Infrared Sauna Therapy – This is my go-to for detoxifying and relaxing after a long day.

  • Breathwork – Whether I’m stressed or just need to reset, breathwork has become my anchor for calming my mind and balancing my energy.

These practices keep my body resilient and strong. I’ve learned to listen to my body and incorporate movement in ways that feel good for me, not as something rigid or forced.

3. Tech & Devices

I love combining ancient practices with modern technology. These devices have been game-changers in optimizing my recovery, sleep, and overall well-being.

  • Red Light Therapy – Stimulates cellular regeneration and reduces inflammation.

  • CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) - I occasionally wear the CGM to see how my body responds to certain food and stress levels. Honestly, this was really interesting to see.

  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) – I use this to boost healing and brain function.

  • Oura Ring – Tracks my sleep patterns and helps me optimize my recovery.

  • Healy – A device that helps balance my body’s energetic fields and supports overall well-being.

  • Chi Machine – Enhances circulation and relaxation.

  • Bio Mat – Uses far-infrared rays to reduce stress and improve circulation.

Each tool helps me dial in different aspects of my health, whether it’s optimizing sleep or boosting recovery. The key is to find what works for your lifestyle and gradually add these tools.

4. Wellness Treatments

These treatments play a crucial role in my recovery and overall health, helping to detoxify, rejuvenate, and restore balance.

  • ZenCleanse Intestinal Cleanse – I do an intestinal cleanse with ZenCleanse on my own as well as with my mastermind clients. It’s been a game-changer for detoxifying my gut, improving digestion, and keeping my body in balance.

  • IV Nutrient Therapy – Directly boosts my immune system and energy levels.

  • Ozone Drip Therapy – Helps with detoxification and improving oxygen utilization.

  • NAD - I use NAD infusions for cellular regeneration and to boost my energy levels.

These treatments have been essential in helping me detox, recover, and maintain high energy levels. They support my body at a cellular level, ensuring I'm always functioning at my best.

Cleansing My Gut Has Reset Me Emotionally and Spiritually...

This cleanse isn’t just about detoxing your gut - it’s about creating space in your body and mind for clarity and growth. I feel more aligned emotionally and spiritually every time I do it. ZenCleanse has been a key part of my reset routine 🙏

4. Mind-Body Practices

Balancing my mind and body has been essential. These practices are just as important as supplements and physical routines because they help me manage stress and stay grounded.

  • Meditation – This is something I do regularly in fact almost every night. This, by far, is the most effective tool for my nervous (and downloading ideas!)

  • Breathwork – Simple but powerful breathwork helps me manage stress and maintain balance.

  • Mindfulness – Whether it’s going for a walk or swimming, being present in the moment helps me recharge.

  • Dancing – Moving my body through dance not only boosts my mood but also releases stress and reconnects me with myself.

These practices remind me to slow down, check in with myself, and create moments of peace in my day.

5. Testing & Monitoring

I believe in being proactive with my health. Regular testing helps me track how my body is changing and ensures I’m on the right path.

  1. Genetic Testing – Roughly every six months, I do repeat genetic testing to see how my body is adapting to the changes I’ve made.

  2. Hormonal Testing – Once a year, I check my hormones to make sure everything is balanced.

These tests give me peace of mind and allow me to adjust my routine based on what’s actually happening inside my body.

Final Thoughts: Your Health, Your Journey

At the end of the day, this journey is about more than just feeling better - it’s about truly connecting with yourself, body and mind. The practices I’ve shared with you have transformed my life, but remember, it didn’t happen overnight.

It’s about finding what works for you, being kind to yourself along the way, and knowing that every small step counts.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, start with one or two things. Take it slow, stay consistent, and listen to your body. Your health is in your hands, and I promise, it’s worth the effort.

And as always, I’ll keep sharing everything I learn because we’re all in this together. Here’s to more energy, more balance, and more joy in every part of your life.

Let’s keep growing, side by side.
